What to expect before you hire anyone

How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who You Talk To

Centercommunication Pest Control is a referral service, so there is no crew that shows up at your door. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent provider in our network. That provider is a local business that handles pest control or wildlife removal on its own.

The person who answers may be a business owner, a scheduler, or a technician. That varies by provider. What matters is that the answers you get are clear and kind.

What Happens on the First Call

It is usually a simple conversation. Expect a few friendly questions:

  • What are you seeing, and where in the home?
  • How long has it been going on?
  • Do you have pets or young children?
  • What type of home is it, and does it have a crawl space or attic?

Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing depends on their schedule and the season.

What to Ask a Provider

Ask before you hire. A few questions go a long way:

  • Are you licensed or registered for this work in Washington?
  • Will you inspect first, and can I get the quote in writing?
  • What products or methods will you use, and are they safe around pets?
  • What is included in the price, and what is not?
  • Is there a follow-up visit, and what happens if the problem returns?

Good answers sound clear. You should hear plain words, specific steps, and no rush. If a provider cannot explain the plan, that is worth noting.

Gentle Red Flags

No one needs to panic here, but a few things deserve a pause. Be careful if someone asks for full payment up front, refuses to put the quote in writing, will not name the products they use, or pushes you to sign today. A trustworthy provider will not mind you taking a day to think.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask for a quote, compare it with another, and say no thank you. Final decisions about scope, price, and scheduling are yours and the provider's, not ours.
